Direct booking is simply a booking transaction occurring between a traveler and an owner or host without the interference of a commissioned booking platform.  The Direct Book Network is a free resource for both travelers and owners of private lodging.  Travelers may find links to regional booking sites that have become immensely popular over the last several years or utilize our map to find properties and their owners around the world.  Owners may provide links to their own direct book listing or provide a link to a regional listing site for the benefit of travelers.

The Direct Book Network is not for profit and not a listing site.  Any transaction entered into as a result of information obtained from this site is solely between the owner/host and traveler.
